Iron Grip CrossFit – CrossFit
The sport of fitness was born out of an attempt to create a scientific definition of, and approach to fitness. After refining the definition of CrossFit, it was quickly discovered that one of the most effective ways to encourage people to apply their best effort and intensity to the pursuit of fitness, was to treat it like a competition or a sport. People work harder when there’s friendly competition involved.
The games were born out of the science behind CrossFit. But now the games also help to further inform and develop the science. CrossFit competition is not just a test of individual capacities, but also a test of training methodologies and practices.
