First a 1-rep max snatch on Monday, now 1-rep max shoulder press today! Shoulder press is a difficult one because once you hit your max, that’s it. So make your weight jumps strategic and smart, so as not to tire yourself out too much. Moving to the metcon, it might not be a bad idea to break early on those strict presses. If you do, your muscles will hold off failure a little longer, allowing you to move more consistently across the 5 rounds. Plus, who doesn’t love running??
