The priority today is to make the 1 rep heavy power snatch be heavier than whatever the metcon weight will be. If your 1 rep is 135# or 95#, scaling “Isabel” will be necessary. If you’ve done Isabel before, you know it’s slightly different from “Grace” (30 Clean and Jerks for time). Therefore, consistency is the key. Try and have a plan for each set of rest. Restrict yourself to a maximum amount of said rest. One of the most difficult parts of this workout is remembering technique AIDS you in getting work done. Throwing it out the window only hurts you. So when you feel your technique start to break down, take a second, take a breath, get back on it and finish strong and finish well.
