Iron Grip CrossFit – CrossFit

Our annual celebration of Labor Day always has us doing the Hero Workout “Hotshots 19.” In memory of the 19 fallen Granite Mountain Hotshots who gave their lives in Yarnell, Arizona on June 30th, 2013.
6 for the month, 30 for the day, 19 for every name we lost. As firefighters, part of the conditioning process and requirements was that every man be capable of 7 strict pull-ups, and be able to run.
Remember as you complete this workout, this is what CrossFit is about. Suffering is always easier when you know it is only a fraction of what others endured. So when it burns more than you thought possible, remember their sacrifice, and keep pushing.
