For today, the weight for the dumbbells should be something you could complete 20 thrusters unbroken when fresh. With the layout of this workout, the thrusters will be the limiting factor when it comes to the dumbbells. In terms of strategy, think “at least half”. Meaning, when you’re picking up the rope and/or dumbbells, get at least half the reps done. 15 or 5 reps isn’t a lot, and then you’re halfway there. Pick it up and get half.
