In terms of time domain, we’re looking at a sub-20 minute workout. Therefore, pacing will be the biggest part of this workout. A good way to approach it would be to treat part 1 as a “buy-in” to part 2. If we view them as 2 separate workouts, there is an automatic tendency to drop the ball moving from part 1 to part 2. So use that initial couplet as a pace-setter, then try to pick it up on that 12 and 9 of the squats and burpees. Ain’t nuttin’.
