Covid19 Updates

We will use this for gym updates and changes due to the Covid 19 Virus.

Hey Iron Grip CrossFit family,

Opening Friday August 28th, we are beyond excited to see each of you! Here is our plan and procedures so we comply with CDC guidelines:

Class Times:

Monday-Friday: 5:00am, 6:00am, *8:00am (MWF) 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm

 

Saturday: 7am, 8am

*Classes will include adequate time for each athlete to clean their equipment prior to the next class start time

*We have temporarily suspended open gym so we can ensure adequate social distancing and cleaning procedures are followed. If you need to come in during a non class time please reach out to Megan for an appointment.

*Burn class has been suspended until further notice.

Class Reservation Process:

*Each class will be limited to 14 athletes.

*Athletes can reserve their class in Wodify up to 48 hours prior to the class start time. Reservations will close 15 minutes prior to class.

*We ask that you make every effort to attend the reservation selected or cancel with no less than 30 minutes prior to class. Repeated no-show’s will result in a no-show charge to your account.

Home Gym Workouts

Iron Grip will continue to provide Home Gym workouts until further notice. This is a great opportunity for our athletes with health concerns and scheduling conflicts. We want to ensure each member has an opportunity to workout daily! A daily workout overview will be provided but Zoom classes will not continue.

Entry/Exit Flow:

Please arrive no more than 3-5 minutes before your scheduled class time. Upon entering the gym please remain in the front portion/kids area – this will be our “athlete staging area.” Your coach will advise when it is time to come out onto the gym floor for class briefing.

Upon completion of class each athlete is responsible for sanitizing their equipment prior to putting it away. Once all equipment is cleaned, please promptly exit the gym so we can get the next class started.

Miscellaneous Items

*Computers will be for coaches use only. Please use your mobile devices to log scores.

*Fridge – Please ask a coach to open the fridge for purchasing drinks.

*BYOC – “Bring your own Chalk “ – chalk buckets will not be provided. You are welcome to bring your own chalk for personal use. No wax permitted.

*Kids are welcome and must remain in the kids area. Parents are responsible for sanitizing the space prior to leaving the gym.

*Masks are required

As you know, the world is being overwhelmed by the coronavirus, COVID-19.

While the hype is certainly real, the severity of this outbreak cannot be ignored.

Our #1 priority is your health. We are taking extra precautions at the gym to help keep you and your loved ones safe.

  • You must wash your hands

  • Our culture is already very good about cleaning our equipment and we want to encourage you to continue to do so. If you want to be extra safe, wipe before as well.

  • We are adding to our routine cleaning schedule to include additional bathroom and main floor cleaning.

  • Our coaches will be helping make sure everything is wiped down, wiping down doors and other high traffic areas as well. Feel free to jump in and help them out!

If you are feeling unwell, or have any symptoms of illness, we advise you to stay home. The same goes for the kiddos.

Let’s continue to be diligent in our cleanliness not only for ourselves but for our entire gym family.
