Iron Grip CrossFit – CrossFit

If one of these elements is pushed, it shouldn’t be at the cost of losing time on another. In essence, if you go too hot on the rower and have to take a break before starting your deadlifts, you went too hot on the rower. This applies to the other two movements as well. The deadlift weight should be something you’re comfortable with, nothing intimidating at all. Same with the box jumps. You want to move smooth on the deadlifts, and then maintain a tempo on the box jumps. Do that and each round will go better. If you get choppy or lose tempo, you’ll lose equilibrium. Maintain that steady pace of your heart, breathing, and movement, and everything will benefit.
