Everyone should be able to reach overhead. Everyone should be able to support a load overhead. How much will depend on the person, but the arms, shoulders, trunk and legs should be able to withstand the stress of pressing overhead, or else there is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.


A: Warm-up (No Measure)

3 Rounds

10 Hollow hold PVC press

10 Arch hold PVC press

10 Ring dips

B: Warm-up (No Measure)

10 Minutes:

Work up to 80% 1RM strict press


Shoulder Press (1-1-1-1-1-1-1)

Try to increase weight with each set and establish a new 1-rep max
