Most crossfitters, it seems, prefer to use a high bar back squat style. At Iron Grip, we encourage all our athletes to at least try both the high bar and low bar back squat so they can make an informed decision as to which one they really want to use in their training. Both have their inherent pros and cons.

10 meter Crab walk

20 meter Samson walk

20 meter Broad jumps

Skill

High bar vs. Low bar back squat

Work up to 70% 1RM back squat

Weightlifting

Back Squat (2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2)

Increase weight each set.

Attempt a new 2-rep max.
