Q: What are some things you do outside the gym that people might not know?
A: When I’m not at the gym I work at the U of A with amazing students. I go to school, hang out with my family, and procrastinate as
much as possible to do my homework.
Q: Do you remember what your first workout was and what you thought?
A: I was so scared and nervous, had never done CrossFit before. It was 3 rounds of running with some other exercises, and I was so sore for a week afterwards! It was so much fun though and from there I was hooked!
Q: What’s your favorite workout?
A: Anything with Deadlifts, running, and jumping.
Q: What’s your least favorite workout?
A: Anything with the bike! We don’t get along very well.
Q: What’s your favorite movie?
A: I’ve been watching re-runs of Monsters inc with my son.
Q: What’s your favorite book?
A: I haven’t read for fun in awhile. The most recent would be “Mindset” by Carol Dweck.
Q: What’s your favorite cheat food?
A: Ice cream
Q: How did you find Iron Grip?
A: I used to go to orange theory but it got too repetitive and was really far away. I was looking for something close to my house, where there were group classes that changed to keep me motivated and accountable. I googled it and found it. :)
