For today, find a partner and work hard for this workout. Pick a weight for the barbell that’s doable, not impossible. It should be difficult, but easy enough to make 1 rep move quickly. For that middle portion, singles will most likely be the best approach, so be smart and power through.

2001 meters for the year, 4 rounds for the number of planes, 9 rope climbs for the month, 11 bear complexes for the day, and 2,977 meters for the lives lost. Today we honor those who died 17 years ago. Most if not all of us remember where we were on that day. Here we are now because of it. While you and a friend push your hardest through this workout, think of those who sacrifice their lives for our freedom, and give thanks to all of our first responders and people on the front lines. And always remember, never forget.
